Kendoka across South Africa prepare for the annual seminar
The
SAKF annual seminar and Open Competition is around the corner.
Taking
place from March 13- 14 at the Japanese School Hall, Emmarentia, the seminars
are a great chance for kendoka to take part in two intense days of kendo, alongside
members from dojos across the country. Led by senseis Buster Sefor (6th
dan) and Tony Hughes (5th dan) the event is open to all paid up
members of the SAKF, beginners, intermediate and graded kendoka. It will focus
on topics such as kendo kata, kendo kihon and waza and the correct way to do kiri-kaeshi, uchikomi-geiko and kakari no keiko. There will also be a shimpan seminar, a grading
