SAKF Summer seminar approaches
The South African Kendo Federation will once again be holding its
summer
seminar.
Led by visiting Japanese senseis
Tadahiro Ajiro
Tadahiro Ajiro (8th dan Hanshi), Tokuaki Irii (8th dan Kyoshi) and
Teruaki
Ishimaru (7th dan) with the support of
Buster Sefor (6th dan) and Tony Hughes
(5th dan),
the seminar will take place at the Japanese School in Emmarentia from 16
to 17
October.
Only
open to those
in bogu, a grade examination will be held from 4th kyu up to 3rd
dan. The cost for the seminar is R800
and
the Sayonara Party is R100 per person (partners are welcome).
Application forms are available from
your
dojo President and completed forms together with payment must be
submitted to
your dojo President by not later than 1 October. Those applying for a grade examination must pay
their application fee
together with the seminar fee. The registration fee must be paid in cash
after
successful completion of the examination at the venue.
Due to the size of the hall, the number
of
applicants will be limited to 60. Late entries will not be
accepted.
